Goodrich Corporation has signed a research agreement with Rolls-Royce to develop the next generation of fuel nozzles for lean-burn combustion technology systems, which would be used on future gas-turbine aircraft engines.

GE Energy has signed an agreement to supply up to 101 of its 2.5 xl wind turbines to CEZ Romania for Cogealac, the second phase of the Fantanele wind project.

As there is an obvious trend towards electric driven vehicles, the corresponding technology has to be developed.

The change to alternative car-concepts is necessary because the production of oil has most likely reached its maximum capacity already in middle of 2006. The balance between consumption and supply rate is only guaranteed through increasing oil prices.
